1.  What are the main advantages of timeshare ownership?

A guaranteed holiday every year in quality accommodation at quality resorts. A one off payment guarantees you a holiday for life and as our properties are in perpetuity these can be passed on to family members. Your only costs after this are the annual maintenance charges which every resort has to levy.

2.  How is my purchase protected?

All purchases are protected by the Club Trustee system, where the independent Trustee, in our case First National Trustee Company Limited, holds the title of the property in trust for the members. It is the Trustee who issues each owner a membership certificate confirming the details of their purchase.

3.  Is there a limit on the number of additional weeks I can buy?          

There is no limit to the amount of weeks you can own.

4.  Does the price vary according to which part of the year I take my holidays?          

Prices of the weeks are determined by the time of year you wish to holiday and the size and standard of accommodation you wish to own.

5.  Who do I contact if I require more information on any aspect of my timeshare ownership or the resort?

6. What times do we check in and out?          

The check in time at Fairways Club & The Elite Apartments at Fairways is 4pm and the check out time is 10am, however when making an exchange to other resorts this may very, please check in the RCI brochure and again once you receive your confirmation.

7.  How do I become a member of RCI points?          

You can contact us at head office or contact your resort and we can give you all the information needed to upgrade to RCI Points.

8.  Does the resort offer money exchange service?          

Yes, we offer money exchange facilities during reception opening hours.

9.  Does the resort organise any trips to local attractions?          

The reception will assist in planning days out by coach or even route planning should you have your own car.  Entry tickets can be obtained through the reception to avoid waiting once you arrive at the parks.

10. Does the resort offer a laundry service?          

We have a laundry nearby, just 2 minutes from the reception where they have coin operated washers and dryers. Every Elite apartment has its own washing machine.

11. Does the resort offer activities to keep the kids entertained?          

We have a full range of poolside entertainment for all to enjoy.

12. Can I pass my timeshare to my children?          

Timeshares can be easily passed on to your children.

13. How can I exchange my timeshare for another resort possibly in another country?         

In order to exchange to locations other than your home resort you must be a member of either RCI Points or RCI Weeks.  As a member in RCI Weeks you need to deposit the week you own into the RCI Weeks bank thus entitling you to choose a week in a different resort.  If you are an owner of a floating week, then you must contact head office for an allocation which can then be deposited with RCI. It is based on "Fair Exchange" thus if you own one week in a one bedroom apartment this is what you are entitled to swap for.  If you are in RCI Points then your weeks are automatically banked for you and you just pick the destination you wish to go to.

14. Can I sell my apartment or give to friends or family?

Yes you can. As soon as you have found a purchaser all parties will need to sign the back of your original ownership certificate, this being the form of Surrender and Request. This should then be forwarded to our Malaga office along with a cheque in the sum of £115 per week (for individuals) to be transferred made payable to FNTC Fairways

A utility bill is required in the name of the purchaser(s) dated within the last three months together with a copy of their passport or driving licence.

Please note
we cannot transfer a week if the week is in the RCI Points system, you will have to contact RCI to surrender your week. Once we have had notification from RCI that the week has been released we can then proceed with the transfer.

15. Can the Club assist me with the sale of my Timeshare?

No. Unfortunately the Club does not operate a resale programme. We can only suggest that you sell your timeshare either privately or with the assistance of a resale agency. The Club recommends you only use agencies who are registered with the OTE who are the Timeshare Industry Ombudsman.

16. What are the Head Management Office opening hours?

The Malaga office is open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm UK time (10am to 6pm Spanish time).

The staff levels in Malaga are kept to a bare minimum to maintain our low expenditure costs.

Please have your reference number to hand when contacting our Malaga office.

17. Who do I call for a Floating Time Allocation?

The Allocations office is based in Pueblo Evita, Spain.

Allocations for both Fairways Club and Club Pueblo Evita can be obtained by calling:

18. I have moved house – how should we advise you of a change of address?

Please contact our administration office by either post fax or email to confirm your new address and contact information. WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE THIS INFORMATION OVER THE TELEPHONE.

Please note it is the members responsibility to ensure the Club has the correct contact information in accordance with the Club Constitution.

Please note you will have to advise RCI separately, likewise, if you have advised RCI of a change of address they do not notify us.
